The perfect place to relax, all set in serene bush surroundings.
Help Needed…
We are in the early stages of our journey and inviting visitors to participate in our nature park design and build. Our goal is to create a environment where active campers can experience nature-based activities without the crowds and city commercializing.
Feedback is encouraged and we would love to hear your thoughts on our activities and projects. Several activities are still in their design phase or partly constructed and your input could help shape things for future visitors.
If you would like to visit, lend a hand or just have a sticky-beak you’re more than welcome.
Please subscribe to our newsletter to stay in touch.
We are only accepting a small number of self-contained caravans and at the moment the park is not suitable for children.
What makes us special…
Every part of our life on the park is consciously designed to serve people and our planet. The water supply comes from our dam and runs by gravity to the garden and the trees. We harvest and store sunlight using solar panels.
Since we care for our forest, we constantly replant it with many species of trees. Diversity is the best way to protect it from wild fires and to create a healthy, resilient ecosystem.
Planting trees will help to rebuild the struggling eco-system or those that have been eliminated. So from 2024 with each booking we receive we will plant one tree. Effectively making travel to our nature park carbon free (one tree absorbs on average 30Kg of CO2 a year and will offset approx 200km of travel).
Path Less Traveled…
We’re so much more than just a caravan park. Our 100 acres are just waiting for you to explore. There are plenty of paths to follow, leading to a wealth of discovery.
Bush Lights Nature Park has plenty of space and a maximum capacity limit to maintain the tranquillity and privacy that people are looking for.

A Journey Through Time
How it all started
Bush Lights Camping had its humble beginnings in 2017 when a group of passionate nature enthusiasts acquired a vast tract of land on the outskirts of Dalby, Queensland, Australia. Initially, it was a private retreat for the founders, who aimed to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in the serenity of the Australian bush. Over time, their appreciation for the natural beauty and the desire to share this tranquil paradise with others grew. The owners decided to open their pristine property to the public, turning it into what we now know as Bush Lights Nature Park. Their vision for an eco-friendly and sustainable campground, where visitors could connect with nature in its purest form, has since become a reality, providing guests with an unforgettable opportunity to escape to the wilderness and experience the beauty of the Australian landscape.
